I’ve had the pleasure of working with Kelley and her dog, Duke, several times over the years, but this at-home dog photography session in Whitestown, Indiana is easily my favorite. I first met Kelley during holiday mini sessions a couple of years ago, where I was introduced to her sweet pup, Duke. From the very beginning, their bond was undeniable.

Photographing Kelley and Duke at their home in Whitestown, IN allowed Duke to feel comfortable and relaxed in his own space. Being in a familiar environment made it easier to capture authentic moments and showcase his personality. Kelley shared that Duke is getting older, and preserving memories with him has become incredibly important. Sessions like this are a meaningful way to document the special bond between pets and their owners through professional pet photography.

This lifestyle dog photography session had a laid-back, backyard feel that perfectly reflected Kelley and Duke’s relationship. These types of in-home pet photography sessions in Whitestown and Central Indiana are some of my favorites because they highlight real moments, natural interactions, and genuine emotion.
